PGA ACE Program

Continuing Education

PGA Members are encouraged to continue their professional development throughout their career via the completion of continuing education activities that both maintain and improve knowledge, skills and competencies.

The ACE Program aims to improve the employability, knowledge and skills of Members at the same time recognising their specific skills and areas of expertise. It provides Members with the opportunity to remain current and relevant with employment specific outcomes via ACE activities that are convenient to access and cost effective.

In combination with the Membership Pathway Program, the ACE Program will position each PGA Member as the expert in the sport of golf, possessing the required capability and experience to drive the success of the industry.

Continuing Education is accepted across all industries as the most effective way to provide individuals with significant benefits that improve career outcomes through enhanced job-related skills, increased variety of employment opportunities, extended tenure in positions and improved remuneration.

ACE Streams

The ACE Program is categorised into 4 specific streams, with each stream representing a particular area of the golf industry. Each ACE Stream also contains various sub-categories based on the core and specialised PGA Member Competencies. This allows Members to either focus their training and education requirements on a specialised stream, or choose to broadly cover all areas and be prepared for the large number of generalist roles in the industry. As an overview, each ACE Streams encompasses the following:

Coaching
